Marty Jertson, PGA is the Director of Fitting & Performance for PING Golf.

Marty is in his 16th year at PING, having worked on a wide variety of technologies, research, and product designs. He spent the last 5 years the Chief Engineer and is now the Vice President of Fitting & Performance. Among his many projects, Marty worked on the iPING® Putter Fitting App, a revolutionary use of the built-in phone sensors for putter fitting, the G30 driver and Turbulator technology, and most recently led the design efforts on the G410 driver, which has a unique no-sacrifice customization CG technology. In all, he is a named inventor on over 125 patents.

Marty is also an active PGA member and competitive player, having qualified for 3 PGA Championships including the 2018 Championship at Bellerive CC in St. Louis, MO, and 4-time qualifier for the Shriner's Hospital for Children PGA Tour event. Marty earned the Southwest Section Player of the Year in 2011 and 2017, has competed in the 8 out of last 9 PGA Professional Championships, and help lead the US Team to victory in the 2011 PGA Cup with an unmatched 4-0 record.
